Fish Feed from Mifuma

For pond farming with carp or trout, Mifuma offers you a balanced range of feed. All our carp feeds are free from mandatory GMO labeling and VLOG-certified. We support you in maintaining a vital stock and economically successful pond farming. Many factors influence successful breeding and rearing: besides water quality, oxygen content, and fish health, feeding plays a crucial role. Starting with rearing feed, the range of fish feed extends to special feeds for the final weeks of fattening. The granule sizes are optimally adapted to the developmental stages and fish sizes.

The right feeding for healthy fish

For the nutrition of fish in aquaculture, we recommend our pelleted complete feeds. These are precisely tailored to the fish species, fish age, husbandry conditions, and respective life phase. Based on the latest scientific findings, we have composed each of our fish feeds to ensure optimal development or maximum growth while maintaining an ideal health condition.

Best fish feed for trout

Trout require clean, cold, and oxygen-rich water. They can only survive in cold and cooler waters. With appropriate feeding, unnecessary water pollution can be prevented. This includes the targeted use of environmentally friendly feed and optimal husbandry conditions. Feed losses and poor feed conversion must be avoided, i.e., the pellet sizes should be adapted to fish growth and used in different energy levels depending on the oxygen content of the water.

Carp pond farming

Ponds offer an ideal habitat for numerous rare animals and plants. The production of carp is very close to nature. The ponds are stocked so extensively that the protein requirement can essentially be met by the natural food forming in the pond, such as water fleas, copepods, mosquito larvae, etc. Pellets or grains are usually supplemented. Conservation organizations recommend carp as a food fish because its production represents the most sustainable form of aquaculture.

Feed for fish in the aquarium

The composition of the feed must always be tailored to the fish: fish species like carp and trout are not aquarium inhabitants like ornamental fish, crustaceans, or shrimp. They have different requirements for their feed. Aquarists or fish in garden ponds often receive their feed in the form of tablet feed, dry feed, flake feed, granulate feed, or frozen feed. In the aquarium or aquaristics, ornamental fish and plants mainly serve an optical purpose, but they also have special requirements for their feed. The vitality of the animals depends not only on the main feed or feed types but also on the conditions in the aquarium. How is it structured? Are there enough insects besides stones and plants? These fish do not need frozen feed, yet the fish feed must be adapted to the corresponding conditions.
