Mischfutter Werke Mannheim GmbH has tradition: Since 1965, our company has been offering feed for various animal species. From the beginning, great importance was placed on quality in the production of our products. But we have always kept an eye on the latest developments – and thus successfully established ourselves as experts in our industry.
With our "Mifuma" line, we support our customers in feeding their livestock, pets, and hobby animals. Whether for horses, pigs, or rabbits – we optimally coordinate our concepts to guarantee a balanced diet for your animals. Our many years of experience and a multitude of highly competent employees help us in this endeavor.
The responsible handling of our customers, employees, and suppliers, as well as the natural resources of our environment, is firmly anchored in our corporate policy. For us, sustainability means striving for ecological, economic, and social goals equally and simultaneously, while never losing sight of animal health and welfare. Long-term thinking and responsible action form the basis of our economic success.
In addition to Mannheim, the Mifuma range is also produced in Wallerfangen, Saarland. By expanding our company with the Hafner-Futter brand and the associated production site in Ichenhausen, we are strengthening our expertise in the production of feed in NK and organic quality.
At two storage locations in Bamberg and near Berlin, our goods can also be loaded to best supply our dealer network throughout Germany with feed.
Our partnerships and branches not only facilitate increased production, but they also enable short transport routes. This not only satisfies our distribution partners but also benefits the environment. Thanks to our location on the Old Rhine, the Mannheim compound feed plants are also supplied by ship, resulting in extremely low CO2 emissions.
Even when purchasing our raw materials for production, we place great importance on high quality standards - both for the raw materials themselves and for our suppliers. Here you can find our general terms and conditions, as well as the current quality criteria for cereals and legumes and important documents for the safe handling of cereals, oilseeds, and legumes.

We take full responsibility for our actions and conduct. We can do this with a clear conscience because we adhere to the strictest guidelines in our work. As a result, our products are characterized by the highest quality and safety standards. How can we guarantee this? Because we thoroughly scrutinize our suppliers and their raw and auxiliary materials. This is a prerequisite for each of our productions. Additionally, we always keep an eye on the latest scientific findings and work on further developing our offerings accordingly.
DIN EN ISO 9001:2015
Our quality management is based on the current international standard ISO 9001. This allows us to keep our services transparent to customers and partners and to continuously work on improving our product, process, and service quality.
Furthermore, we are certified by KAT, the Association for Controlled Alternative Animal Husbandry e. V. Its principle is: Equal conditions in all member countries for the protection of animals and origin assurance. Finally, our products carry the QS certification mark. This ensures that our customers can be confident that quality assurance is a top priority from the acceptance of raw materials to delivery.
Many of our animal feeds are certified by the Association for Food without Genetic Engineering (VLOG) and are allowed to carry the "VLOG geprüft" seal. Since many people are not familiar with this seal, we decided to design our own logo. The Mifuma "Without Genetic Engineering" logo can be found on many of our feed bags. However, to comply with legal requirements, the addition "without genetic engineering labeling requirement" is necessary. This indicates that Mifuma deliberately does not use feed components in production that, according to the regulations (EC) No. 1829/2003 and 1830/2003, require a declaration of genetically modified components. Terms like "GMO-free" and "Without Genetic Engineering" without the corresponding addition are therefore highly questionable in feed law. With our excellent feeds, we meet the wishes of many pet owners and self-suppliers who want to provide their chickens, rabbits, horses, and others with reliable quality feed without genetic engineering.
The feed manufacturer deliberately does not use feed or feed components in the production of feed with the additional labeling "NK" and "LL" that require a declaration of a reference to genetically modified components in consideration of the requirements of Regulations (EC) No. 1829/2003 and 1830/2003. The feed manufacturer produces according to the quality specifications Q+S and a corresponding test plan.
The feed produced according to this system will only be delivered to the contracting party if the tests mentioned in sentence 1 have not resulted in a requirement to label the feed according to the provisions of Regulations (EC) No. 1829/2003 or 1830/2003.
Furthermore, the declaration of the feed is made according to the applicable legal regulations.
