Since October 2015, the animal feed of Mifuma has an additional quality seal. Our plant in Mannheim is certified according to the latest standard of the Association for Food without Genetic Engineering (Verband Lebensmittel ohne Gentechnik e.V. - VLOG). In addition to numerous feed products in the bulk goods sector, we are now also responding to the increased demand for feed without genetically modified components in the bagged goods sector. Many consumers with pets and hobby animals wish to feed their animals "without genetic engineering." Therefore, we are converting almost our entire bagged goods program to "without genetic engineering." These feeds, which are produced at the plant in Mannheim, will in the future receive the "without genetic engineering" seal and the addition "suitable for the production of food without genetic engineering."
All our pigeon grain feeds are not marked with the seal. Although they do not have an indication of genetically modified components, they do not meet the criteria in this respect, as our pigeon-feed plant is not yet certified with the seal. In fact, they were and are also produced without genetically modified components.
