Christian Idoux feeds all his pigeons—young and old—Klassik Mais Vital throughout the year. “This mixture with corn supports, among other things, the distinctive red eye ring of my Lahore pigeons,” he explains. He also uses Vital Power Steine, Power Grit, and products from Röhnfried such as Entrobac, Taubengold, and bath salts.
Whether for breeding, moulting, or winter feeding, the basis always remains the same: Klassik Mais Vital. “In winter, I just feed a little more sparingly,” says Christian Idoux. “During moulting, I add about a tablespoon of Mifuma seeds per ten pigeons.” His birds only receive vitamins after treatments or vaccinations.
The breeder has had excellent experiences with this feed: “The animals eat more calmly and purposefully, grow strongly, develop a thick coat of feathers, and are very resilient.” He is particularly impressed by the consistently high quality of Mifuma products: “The feed is always clean, dust-free, and attractively priced – my 140 pigeons are well cared for.”
