HOW DO YOU FEED ...
during the journey:
During the journey, we feed the pigeons specifically according to the flight day to optimize their performance. On the flight day, they receive a mix of Relax and diet feed to provide easily digestible energy. At the beginning of the week, we give Relax and have a diet day exclusively with barley. After that, they get Relax, Energy, and Grand Prix. On the following days, we rely on Energy to maximize their condition and energy reserves.
during breeding and molting:
We rely on Zucht + Mauser Sonderklasse and Premium. This combination is diverse and high-quality. It contains all the nutrients to optimally support the pigeons. This keeps them healthy and efficient.
Your young pigeons:
For our young pigeons, we initially rely on Top Jungtaube. During the journey, Relax and, more recently, Elite Racing are used. We have been very pleased with this combination this year.
YOUR TIP FOR NEW BREEDERS:
Get young pigeons or eggs from successful breeders in your area in the fall! These are often available at an affordable price. Never end the journey prematurely due to lack of success! Only by constantly evaluating yourself and your pigeons can success be achieved in the long run.
