Our Aktiv Perle is a coated grain based on milo with an extra portion of L-carnitine - for a long-lasting, increasing form and more joy of flying. The pelleted grain is available exclusively in Mifuma's pigeon program. Only Mifuma can apply the gentle manufacturing process in which the grain is coated with a nutrient layer. The Aktiv Perle is very well received by the pigeons and can also be given as a small reward or treat.
Aktiv Perle already useful for young pigeons
It is recommended to give the Aktiv Perle as a sole feed for a whole day to young pigeons so that they quickly get used to the taste. Once the young pigeons know the taste of the coated grain, it is recommended to feed them 3 grams per pigeon per day. Since the pigeons love the taste, you can also feed the pearl by hand and make your favorites nice and tame. Otherwise, mix it with the grain feed - preferably spread over two meals.
L-Carnitine for the old pigeons
During the journey, the old pigeons should be fed 5 g per pigeon daily. The need is higher for old pigeons because the flight distances are greater than for young pigeons. Here too, it is recommended to ideally distribute the Aktiv Perle over two meals. This way, the pigeons go to the feeding trough better and eat with appetite.
All nutrients are preserved – The pelleting process
In pelleting, as the manufacturing process of the coated grains is called, the grain is coated with important minerals, vitamins, and L-carnitine. Aktiv Perle contains L-carnitine. L-carnitine supports the metabolism in the cells and ensures better utilization of food in our carrier pigeons. In addition, L-carnitine protects the muscles from cramps and acidification. The daily administration of Aktiv Perle leads to increased training enthusiasm and higher performance readiness in racing pigeons. Since pigeons cannot produce L-carnitine in sufficient quantities themselves, it must be supplied to them in other ways. Especially at higher flight distances, pigeons need this supplement to meet the requirements. With our Aktiv Perle, we have found a very good solution. With regular feeding of Aktiv Perle, excessive administration of other by-products can be dispensed with, as the contained vitamins, minerals, and trace elements largely cover the daily needs.
All-inclusive with Elite Racing
Our Elite Racing is the only travel feed in which the important Aktiv Perle is already included. However, since only basic supply is ensured here, it is recommended to offer the Aktiv Perle additionally to the Elite Racing to the pigeons. Either mixed with the feed or by hand. The pigeons love it. For all other travel mixtures from Mifuma, the Aktiv Perle should be mixed with the feed daily to ensure complete coverage of the L-carnitine requirement.
