Our Aktiv Perle is a coated grain based on milo with an extra portion of L Carnitine for long lasting, steadily improving condition and greater eagerness to fly. This coated grain is available exclusively in the Mifuma pigeon range. Only Mifuma can apply this gentle manufacturing process, in which the grain is coated with a nutrient layer. Aktiv Perle is readily accepted by pigeons and can also be given as a small reward or treat.
Aktiv Perle Is Beneficial Even for Young Pigeons
Even for young pigeons, it is recommended to feed Aktiv Perle as the sole feed for one full day so that they quickly become familiar with the taste. Once the young pigeons know the flavour of the coated grain, it is advisable to feed approximately 3 grams per pigeon per day.
Since pigeons love the taste, the Perle can also be hand fed, helping to make your favourites particularly tame. Otherwise, it can simply be mixed into the grain feed, ideally divided between two meals.
L Carnitine for Adult Pigeons
During the racing season, adult pigeons should receive 5 grams per pigeon daily. Adult pigeons have a higher requirement because their flight distances are greater than those of young pigeons. Here as well, it is recommended to divide the Aktiv Perle between two meals. This encourages the pigeons to visit the feed trough more eagerly and eat with a healthy appetite.
All Nutrients Remain Preserved: The Coating Process
The coating process, known as pillieren, involves coating the grain with important minerals, vitamins, and L Carnitine. Aktiv Perle contains L Carnitine, which supports cellular metabolism and improves the utilisation of nutrients in our racing pigeons.
In addition, L Carnitine helps protect the muscles against cramps and hyperacidity. Daily feeding of Aktiv Perle leads to greater enthusiasm for training and improved performance during races.
Since pigeons cannot produce sufficient amounts of L Carnitine themselves, it must be supplied through their diet. Especially during longer flight distances, pigeons require this supplementation to meet the demands placed upon them. With our Aktiv Perle, we have found an excellent solution.
With regular feeding of Aktiv Perle, excessive use of other supplements can often be reduced, as the included vitamins, minerals, and trace elements already cover most of the pigeons’ daily nutritional requirements.
Everything Included with Elite Racing
Our Elite Racing is the only racing feed that already contains the important Aktiv Perle. However, since this only provides a basic supply, it is still recommended to offer Aktiv Perle additionally alongside Elite Racing, either mixed into the feed or hand fed. The pigeons love it.
For all other Mifuma racing mixtures, Aktiv Perle should be mixed into the feed daily to ensure a complete supply of L Carnitine.
