Our Pick-Max, measuring 7 cm thick and 15 cm long, is ideal for this purpose. Tasty ingredients such as maize, wheat, milo, alfalfa, sunflower seeds, shrimp, carrots, and oats are pressed into a firm, cold pressed block that encourages your feathered animals to peck. This helps prevent boredom both in the coop and in the run.
The block is suitable for all types of poultry, from small quail to larger species such as nandu or emu. It can be offered as a whole stick or broken into smaller pieces. It can also be lightly moistened with water so the ingredients swell slightly. Please ensure that Pick-Max makes up no more than 25 percent of the daily ration, even if it becomes a favorite.
