From grain to pellet!

Why is poultry feed sometimes called “Korn” when it is actually a pellet? Maybe you have asked yourself this question when standing in front of the shelf at your retailer or at home by the feed trough.

Many of our feeds that are pressed into pellet form previously carried the term “Korn” in their name, such as Legekorn Premium. This led some breeders and new Mifuma customers to expect a grain mix. These naming conventions have been with us for a long time, but now it is time to use clearer terminology. For this reason, we have adjusted the names and now explicitly label these products as “Pellet,” for example Vollkraftpellet Premium. This way, there is no confusion. One thing remains unchanged, despite the new name, the quality stays the same.

You can find an overview of our pellet, grain, and mash feeds, as well as all other poultry products, in our product range.
